Merry Marshall!

The week before the holiday break saw many celebrations and classroom parties and a great time was had by all. Last Friday, I was on hand for Mrs. Vizcaya’s kindergarten holiday party and the children enjoyed making glittered snowflakes, decorating cookies, and playing musical chairs to live banjo music provided by David Palaitis (better known as Luca’s dad).

The class parents also took the opportunity to give Mrs. Vizcaya a holiday gift. As the year rushes by, these celebrations are a wonderful opportunity for parents to show their appreciation to the Marshall faculty as well as feel a part of the exciting and stimulating classroom environment that’s such an important part of our children’s lives. And it’s also an excellent chance to just stop and enjoy. These years from kindergarten through second grade go by in a flash. These holiday celebrations allow us to stop and live in the moment, enjoying the simple, silly, and fun moments in our children’s lives.
